Overview
The BS Information Technology program includes the study of the utilization of both hardware and software technologies involving planning, installing, customizing, operating, managing and administering and maintaining information technology infrastructure that provides computing solutions to address the needs of an organizations. It shall encourage them to apply the skills and knowledge they will gain to solve real-life problems. The program is also designed for the students to develop research and communication skills, learn to critically evaluate their work, and eventually make adequate preparation for the future workplace or further advancement in the field through further studies.

The Database Systems Track introduces the students to the theories and technologies associated with the analysis, design, implementation, and maintenance of small, medium, and large data warehouses. This track specializes in advanced Database Concepts such as: Remote DB Access, Backup and Recovery, Security and Optimization Techniques and exposes students to different Modern Database Architectural Implementations used in the industry.
